How many units of an NFT should I raffle?

You are seeing this field because you are raffling an ERC-1155 token.

Unlike unique 1-of-1 NFTs, the ERC-1155 standard allows you to own multiple identical copies of the same item (e.g., 500 "Health Potions").

The "Token ID" you entered identifies the type of item, and "NFT Units" is where you enter how many of those items you are putting up as a prize.

Example

Let's say you own 500 identical "Magic Swords," all of which have a Token ID of 1. You want to raffle off 100 of them.

  • Token ID: 1 (This identifies the "Magic Sword")
  • NFT Units: 100 (This is the amount you are raffling)

If you only want to raffle one of your "Magic Swords," you would simply enter 1.
